Golden, buttery biscuits that literally swim in melted butter — bursting with juicy blueberries and finished with a bright, tangy lemon glaze. Pure breakfast (or dessert) bliss! 💛

Ingredients (for the biscuits):

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tbsp baking powder

1 tbsp sugar

1 tsp salt

1 ¾ cups buttermilk

½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries (no thawing needed)

Lemon Glaze:

½ cup powdered sugar

1 tbsp lemon juice

½ tsp lemon zest

1 tsp milk (optional for thinning)

Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).

Pour melted butter into an 8×8-inch baking dish.

In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Add buttermilk and stir until just combined (don’t overmix).

Fold in blueberries gently.

Spread dough evenly over the melted butter — it’s okay if the butter pools around the edges (that’s the magic!).

Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown on top.

Whisk together glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm biscuits.

Tip: Serve warm with a little extra lemon zest on top or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert-style indulgence.
