This “upside Down” Apple Tart Is a Must Try

2 large apples peeled and sliced (1/8th”)

3/4 cup honey warmed

2 tbsp granulated sugar

1/2 tsp cinnamon

6 sheets phyllo

1/3 cup olive oil

Icing sugar as garnish

步驟

Pour about 1 tbsp honey on parchment paper, on large tray or 2 smaller trays to make 8 tarts.

Place about 6 slices peeled apples overlapping on top of each honey spot.

Drizzle a little more honey over apples.

Mix sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over apples.

Brush 6 sheets phyllo with olive oil, cut into 8 squares and place each rectangle over top apples. Brush with remaining oil.

Bake at 375 F for about 20 minutes or just until brown.

Best eaten warm and crispy. Serve with icing sugar and enjoy! Reheat in oven at 300F or in the air fryer.
