Double Chocolate Coffee Cake

Introducing my double chocolate coffee cake—rich, indulgent, and made for true chocoholics. Recipe below!

Cake

½ cup oil

½ cup granulated sugar

½ cup brown sugar

2 eggs

1 cup lighter sour cream or plain Greek yogourt

¼ cup cocoa powder

1 ¼ cup all purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

1/8th tsp salt

½ cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Topping

2/3 cup brown sugar

1 tbsp all purpose flour

1 tsp cinnamon

2 tbsp oil

¾ cup semi sweet chocolate chips

步驟

In a large bowl add oil, both sugars and eggs and whisk until combined.

Add sour cream, cocoa and mix until combine.

Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and chocolate chips and mix just until flour is combined.

Pour batter into a 9” springform pan or cake pan sprayed with vegetable oil.

Crumb Topping: In a small bowl add brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, oil, and mix, add chocolate chips and combine.

Sprinkle crumb mixture over batter and bake at 350 F for 35 – 40 minutes or just until tester comes out clean.

Garnish with icing sugar. Enjoy!
