Homemade Cheez Its

16 oz block extra sharp cheddar cheese

1/2 cup very cold butter (cubed)

1 teaspoon paprika

2 cups unbleached all purpose flour

6 tablespoons ice water

1️⃣ Pulse sharp cheddar cheese, flour, cold cubed butter, ice water and paprika until dough comes together in a ball.

2️⃣ Shape the dough into a disc, wrap in plastic, and refrigerate for 30 minutes to an hour.

步驟

Roll the dough very thin (about 1/8-inch or less) on a floured surface, cut into 1-inch squares and poke a hole in the center with a skewer or a straw.

Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15- 17 minutes until golden and crispy. Let cool, break apart and Devour!
