- 2 lbs. lean ground beef
- 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup onion, diced
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp chopped parsley
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- ½ cup bbq sauce
For the Topping:
- ⅓ cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp mustard
步驟
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and spray it with non-stick spray. Set it aside.
2. In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, diced onion, garlic powder, parsley, salt, pepper, and bbq sauce. Use your hands to combine everything thoroughly.
3. Shape the meat mixture into an 8” x 4” loaf on the prepared baking sheet.
4. Bake for 45 minutes. Then, take it out of the oven and increase the temperature to 400°F (200°C).
5. In a small bowl, whisk together the ketchup, brown sugar, and yellow mustard. Spread this topping over the meatloaf.
6. Put the meatloaf back in the oven and bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) in the center.
7. Allow the meatloaf to rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing. Enjoy your delicious meatloaf!
筆記
For a twist, you can add a layer of bacon on top of the meatloaf before baking for extra flavor and texture.
