Did you know that before tobacco became available in Europe , pear leaves were the top choice for smokers?

Not being a smoker myself, but a pear-sipping kinda mate;

I WAS TOLD THERE’D BE PEARS

4 ½ cl Bourbon Vanilla infused Gin (@siredmondgin)

1 ½ cl White Vermouth

½ cl Galliano Liqueur

1 ½ cl *Homemade Simple Pear 🍐Syrup

Two lemon 🍋zests

Shake with Ice

Dirty dump into a Highball

Top with fresh Ice

Top with Soda water

Garnish with dehydrated Pear slice

Homemade Simple Pear Syrup; Combine water, sugar, and chopped pears in a saucepan over medium-high heat and bring to a boil. Once boiling, lower the heat and let the mixture simmer for about 15 minutes, until it has thickened and the pears have softened. Strain and store in a fridge - put to good use!
