Korean Air Fried Chicken Wings

2 pounds chicken wings or wingettes
1 teaspoon salt , garlic powder, onion powder
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
2 tablespoons corn starch
Gochujang sauce:
2 tablespoons butter
1-2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili sauce )
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
Pat dry your chicken wings
Season with salt, garlic powder, onion powder, mustard, and cornstarch. Give the wings a good mix..
fry in oil for 6-8 minutes OR air fry 400 F degrees for 12 minutes then flip the wings . Air fry another 12 minutes flip and air fry another 5 minutes. Let them rest 5-10 minutes before adding to the sauce .
Make the sauce by melting the butter on very low heat .
Add garlic cook for 30 seconds.
Add gochujang, soy sauce, brown sugar, honey , rice vinegar. Mix well.
Add the wings and gently toss to coat the chicken wings .
Optional garnish of chives or green onions.
