45ml/ 1.5 oz Light-style Rum

15ml/ 0.5 oz Blue Curacao

7,5ml/ 0.25 oz Vanilla Liqueur

30ml/ 1oz Lime Juice

15ml/ 0.5 oz Cinnamon Syrup

HOW: Shake all with crushed ice / Dump in glass / Add crushed ice to fill glass / Garnish.

Discovered via Steve The Barman on YT, who got it from ‘Tropical Cocktails’, a book by Kelly ‘HipHipAhula’ Reilly and ‘Trader’ Tom Morgan.

In his video Steve notes making some adjustments to the recipe (which originally used Vanilla Rum and Galliano), and since I don’t own the book myself, I decided to follow suit with him.

Now, admittedly, I didn’t follow Steve 100%: I opted to add a bit more lime juice (30ml vs. 22,5ml) and a little less Vanilla Liqueur (7,5ml vs. 15ml). Though these choices are based on my own palatal preferences and the fact I’m not using all the exact same ingredients, so as usual… taste and adjust!
