Chocolate Babka

1/2 cup orange juice

3 eggs

1 cup sugar

3/4 cup brown sugar

1 cup oil

1 tsp vanilla

2 ½ cup flour

1 tbsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup hot water

Chocolate layer:

1 box chocolate pudding powder , 1/3cup non dairy milk, 1/4 cup oil, splash of vanilla, 2 tbsp icing sugar, 2 tbsp cocoa

Crumb topping:

1 cup flour

5 tbsp oil

1/3 cup sugar

Glaze:

1 tbsp cocoa powder

2 tbsp milk

1/2 cup icing sugar

步驟

Whisk together oj , eggs, sugars, oil and vanilla.

Add in flour, baking powder and salt- lightly combine these ingredients and then mix wet and dry ingredients together.

Fold in hot water.

Pour batter into greased 9x13 pan.

Mix together chocolate layer ingredients and add in dollops on cake. Swirl with a knife to distribute the chocolate.

Mix together crumb topping ingredients. Sprinkle on top of cake.

Bake for about 55-60 minutes at 325°F if using Pyrex or 45-50 minutes at 350°F if using a metal pan, until toothpick comes out clean.

Whisk together glaze ingredients and drizzle on top
