Lemon Garlic Butter Chicken and Parmesan Herb Cream Linguine

For the Chicken:
1 ½ lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch thick pieces
2 tbsp olive oil
4 tbsp butter, divided
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 lemon, juiced
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 cup chicken broth
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
For the Parmesan Herb Cream Linguine:
1 lb linguine pasta
6 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
1/4 cup chopped fresh oregano
1/2 cup reserved pasta water
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Cook the Linguine: Cook the linguine according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining. Set the pasta aside.
Season and Sear the Chicken: In a bowl, toss the chicken pieces with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and sear for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
