Cheesy Phyllo Ribbon Pie

Leftover cheeses (any variety, shredded or crumbled)

1 cup sour cream/1 cup cottage cheese/1 cup crumbled feta/ 2 cups shredded cheese of your choice

2 eggs

1 package of phyllo dough

Cooking spray

Sesame seeds (optional)

步驟

Prep the Phyllo:

Unroll the phyllo dough and re-roll it into a log.

Slice the log into ½-inch pieces.

Assemble the Base:

Spray a baking pan and layer half of the phyllo slices. Open up the ribbons and let them fall naturally into the pan.

Prepare the Filling:

Mix all the cheeses you have on hand in a bowl.

Add 2 eggs and stir until combined.

Add the Filling:

Pour the cheese mixture over the phyllo ribbons in the pan.

Top with the remaining phyllo ribbons, spreading them evenly.

Finish & Bake:

Spray the top with more cooking spray and sprinkle sesame seeds if desired.

Bake at 375°F (190°C) until golden and crisp, about 40 minutes.

Serve:

Let it cool slightly before cutting into squares or wedges. Perfect for gatherings or as a quick, satisfying snack!
