Vaughn Spaghetti Sauce

1 lb Ground Beef - browned

1 onion diced and cooked with ground beef

1 tsp salt

1/4 tsp fresh ground pepper

dash of Red Pepper Flakes

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tbsp of Italian Seasoning

1 tsp oregano

2 Cans diced tomatoes (I use the Italian seasoned kind if possible)

2 Small cans of tomato sauce

Add everything together in large sauce pan and simmer.  Sometimes we sweeten it a little with a couple of teaspoons of brown sugar as well. Sometimes I also add a jar of good brand spaghetti sauce to add bulk and depth of flavor…..
