Slow Cooker Salmon

Ingredients:
2-4 center cut salmon filets
1 lemon/2 limes
brown sugar
chili powder
cumin
water
parchment paper
Directions:
Make spice rub:
1 T brown sugar
1 T chili powder
1 t cumin
Prepare salmon:
season filets generously with salt and pepper
sprinkle on spice rub
Prepare crock pot:
Place parchment paper on bottom and up side for sling to remove salmon after cooking.
Spread layer of limes or lemons along bottom.
Pour water over limes/lemons just until covered.
Place salmon filets on top of limes/lemons so not overlapping.
Cook on low for 1-1 1/2 hours, checking after 1 hour. Should be 145 degrees in thickest part when ready.
Remove from crockpot using parchment paper sling.
