Protein Pasta | (Marinara + Cottage Cheese)

I love making a batch of this for the week and keeping it stored in a jar in the fridge to use for dinner!

My go to way to enjoy this pasta is with chicken sausage and some broccoli to make a full meal!

Protein pasta sauce ingredients:

Pasta of choice (I used mafaldine)

1 œ - 2 cups of your favorite marinara sauce

1 cup low fat cottage cheese

1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

2 tsp minced garlic

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1/4 cup unsweetened milk of choice

Optional: add in sautéed mushrooms and spinach

Instruktioner

Cook pasta according to package instructions.

Add all sauce ingredients to a high speed blender and blend on high until smooth.

Pour over pasta and mix until evenly coated. For meal prep, store sauce in a large jar in the fridge for up to 5 days. When ready to eat, heat on the stove over low heat then mix in your pasta! And serve with a protein and veggie of choice!
