Homemade Italian Sausage

Ingredienser

1 pound ground pork (or beef or turkey)

1 teaspoon dried parsley

1 teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon Kosher salt

½ teaspoon dried oregano

½ teaspoon fennel seeds (or ½ teaspoon ground fennel)

½ teaspoon garlic powder

¼ teaspoon dried rosemary (crushed)

⅛ teaspoon black pepper

⅛ teaspoon dried thyme leaves

⅛ teaspoon red pepper flakes (or to taste)

Instruktioner

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Using your hands, mix until well combined and the seasonings are evenly distributed.

Cover & refrigerate at least 4 hours or up to 24 hours.

To brown the sausage, add it to a skillet and cook over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a spoon until no pink remains. Drain any fat.
