Easy Taco Night Ideas

Serves: 2–3 (4–6 tacos

Ingredienser

Beef Filling

1 lb ground beef (80/20 works best)

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp onion powder

Tacos

6 small flour tortillas (street-size or taco size)

6 slices American or cheddar cheese

Toppings

Shredded iceberg or romaine lettuce

Diced tomatoes

Dill pickle slices

Optional: diced onions

Burger Sauce

½ cup mayonnaise

2 tbsp ketchup

1 tbsp mustard

1 tbsp pickle relish (or finely chopped pickles)

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp paprika

Salt, to taste

Instruktioner

Make the Burger Sauce

Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl. Chill while you cook for best flavor.

Cook the Beef

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Cook until browned and slightly crispy. Remove from pan.

Assemble the Tacos

Lay tortillas flat. Add a layer of cooked beef to one half of each tortilla.

Top with a slice of cheese.

Toast the Tacos

Fold tortillas in half. Place in a clean skillet over medium heat.

Cook 1–2 minutes per side until:

Tortillas are golden and lightly charred

Cheese is fully melted

Finish with Toppings

Open tacos slightly and add:

Lettuce

Tomatoes

Pickles

Drizzle generously with burger sauce

Serve immediately.

Steak Tacos

Serves: 2–3 (6–8 tacos)

Ingredients

Steak

1 lb flank steak, skirt steak, or sirloin

1½ tbsp olive oil

1 tsp chili powder

1 tsp cumin

½ tsp smoked paprika

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp onion powder

Salt & black pepper, to taste

Juice of ½ lime

Pico-Style Topping

1 cup diced tomatoes

¼ cup finely diced onion

2 tbsp chopped cilantro

Salt, to taste

Optional: minced jalapeño

Creamy Sauce

½ cup sour cream or Mexican crema

1–2 tbsp lime juice

½ tsp garlic powder

Pinch of salt

Optional: splash of milk to thin

Assembly

Flour or Corn tortillas

1–2 avocados, sliced

Extra cilantro & lime wedges

Instructions

Season the Steak

Pat steak dry. Rub with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and lime juice.

Cook the Steak

Heat a cast-iron skillet or grill pan over high heat.

Cook steak 3–5 minutes

Serves: 2–3 (4–6 tacos
