BROWN SUGAR ICEBOX COOKIES

Ingredienser

1 cup butter

2 cups brown sugar

2 large eggs

2 tsp. vanilla

3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 Tbsp. baking powder

Instruktioner

Beat together butter and brown sugar till smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, mix till fluffy

Whisk together flour and baking powder, add to creamed mixture.

Dough will be stiff

Divide dough into 4 parts, and shape into logs. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours

Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Slice dough into 1/4" thick slices. Place on a greased or parchment paper lined cookie sheet.

Bake 8-10 minutes.
