Viral Lasagna Dumplings

Ingredienser

1 lb ground chicken

3 cloves garlic, finely chopped

1/2 tsp fresh grated ginger (or ginger powder)

1/4 cup soy sauce

Dash of sesame oil

1 tsp brown sugar

1 tsp chicken soup powder (consommé)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp chili flakes

2 green onions, chopped

1 small onion, diced

1 package wonton wrappers (square or round)

1/2 cup hot water

For topping

Sesame seeds

Chopped chives

Chili oil or chili crunch

Extra soy sauce

Instruktioner

In a large bowl, mix together the ground chicken, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, chicken soup powder, garlic powder, chili flakes, green onions, and diced onion until fully combined.

In an oven-safe baking dish, lay down a layer of wonton wrappers. Spread a layer of the meat mixture evenly on top. Repeat with another layer of wontons and another layer of meat. Finish with a final layer of wontons (you can double up the last layer).

Pour the hot water evenly over the assembled lasagna.

Place this baking dish into a larger baking dish and fill the outer dish with water halfway up the sides to create a steam bath.

Cover tightly with foil and bake at 375°F for 30–40 minutes, or until fully cooked through.

Remove from the oven and top with soy sauce, chili oil, chives, and sesame seeds. Serve and enjoy! 😉
