Chocolate 7 Minute Frosting

• total tid: 7 minutes

Ingredienser

3 egg whites

2 ¼ cups sugar

2 ¼ tsp corn syrup

½ cup cold water

1/8 tsp salt

1 ½ tsp vanilla

4 (1 oz) squares of melted and cooled unsweetened chocolate

Instruktioner

Combine above ingredients in a double boiler. Beat over boiling water until peaks form (7 minutes). Remove from heat and fold in mixture of vanilla and melted chocolate.

This may be the frosting Marge used on the poppy seed cake, without the chocolate.
