Irish Brown Bread

Ingredienser

1 c flour

2 tbsp sugar

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1 1/2 tbsp cold butter

2 c whole wheat flour

1/4 c regular or quick oats

1 1/2 c plain yogurt (I use buttermilk)

Instruktioner

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder & soda & salt. Cut in butter til fine crumbs.

Stir in whole wheat flour & oats.

Add milk slowly so not sticky.

Knead 5 times. Form into loaf & put in loaf pan.

Bake in 375 oven until well browned - 40 min m/l.
