If 2026 really is the year of the cabbage, you’ve got to try cooking it like this. This is my melt in your mouth, miso-garlic butter cabbage 🤤

I lathered my cabbage with a miso-garlic butter, basting as it roasts, before serving it with creamy braised butter beans. Indulgent + delicious, but a recipe that packs a huge amount of fibre too from the cabbage + beans 💪

INGREDIENTS (serves 2)
1 pointed cabbage
Good glug of neutral oil (avocado / sunflower)
Salt + pepper
50g salted butter
1 tsp white miso paste
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 large shallot, finely diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
Small bunch fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 tbsp cider vinegar
570g jar butter beans
1 tbsp nutritional yeast
½ lemon, zested
To serve: finely diced chives, toasted sesame seeds, chilli crisp
