Created at New York’s Lion Lion bar (now closed) by @zgrcocktails. The 3-ingredient drink starts with a lighter-bodied Spanish / Cuban / Dominican style of rum then paired with Fernet Branca and banana liqueur. Fernet’s bitter menthol notes are tamed by the rich banana bread flavours of Tempus Fugit’s banana liqueur.

2 oz (60 ml) aged rum

½ oz (15 ml) Fernet Branca

½ oz (15 ml) banana liqueur
