Sicilian Gravy - Celtic GUM

Ingrediente

2 lb. of ground beef

1 pound of sweet Italian sausage hot or sweet

3 jars of Rao’s Homemade Tomato and Basil Sauce

Brown ground beef and sausage meat in large dutch oven (6 quart)

Add tomatoes

Chop up/dice –

Mushrooms

Zucchini

Kalamato olives ½ jar with a little of the “juice”

1 red onion

1 baby or ½ regular eggplant

Change out veggies to your taste

Instrucțiuni

Saute (in some oil) until tender add oregano and garlic then add to meat and sauce

Simmer all day

Serve with any pasta - bowtie is a good option
