Golden Carrot Cookies

Ingrediente

1 cup shortening

3/4 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 cup shredded carrots

2 cups flour

2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup shredded coconut

Instrucțiuni

Cream together, the shortening, sugar and eggs. Mix in the shredded carrots.

Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir into the creamed mixture. Add in the shredded coconut.

Drop on sheet. Bake at 400° for 8 to 10 minutes. Top with orange butter icing.
