Cowpoke Steaks

1/2 cup chili sauce
1/2 cup apple juice
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 small onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, crushed
6 (12-ounce) sirloin steaks, 1.5 to 2 inches thick
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instrucțiuni
Prepare a charcoal grill to medium-high heat (350°F to 400°F) with the rack 4 inches from the coals.
Combine the chili sauce, apple juice, oil, soy sauce, hot sauce, mustard, onion, and garlic in a small pot and simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes.
Brush the steaks with the sauce and place on teh grill. Grill 10 minutes on each side for medium rare, basting frequently with the sauce.
Remove the steaks from the grill and season with the salt and pepper.
Note
Dolly says: "These juicy sirloins may be fit for cowboys, but I never have trouble finishin' a whoel one. They're brushed with an are-you-man-enough hot sauce made from chili sauce, hot sauce, and Dijon mustard that could put a little hair on anyone's chest."
