Ingredients •
3-4 Ibs pork butt •
1/4 cup Olive oil •
1/4 cup BBQ rub
• 32 oz Apple juice •
1 tbsp Hickory smoke salt
• 32 oz Vegetable stock •
15 oz BBQ sauce
Rub
1/4 cup light brown sugar
2 tbs cayenne pepper
2 tbs chili powder
2 tbs salt
2 tbs pepper
2 tbs dry mustard
2 tbs onion powder
2 tbs garlic powder
Instrucțiuni
Instructions
1. Inject: Mix the hickory smoke salt with apple juice and inject the pork butt.
2. Rub & Sear: Rub with olive oil and your favorite BBQ rub. Sear in a hot skillet for 3-4 minutes per side.
3. Slow Cook: Place the pork in a crock-pot and pour the stock in. Cook on high for 4-6 hours until tender.
4. Finish: Remove, pull the pork, and mix with BBQ sauce.
