Spiced Berry Old Fashioned

Ingrediente

2 oz bourbon or rye whiskey

1/2 oz spiced berry syrup (or muddled mixed berries + cinnamon & clove-infused simple syrup)

2–3 dashes Angostura bitters

Ice (large cube preferred)

Garnish: Orange peel and a few whole berries (optional)

Instrucțiuni

If using fresh berries, muddle them gently with the spiced simple syrup in a mixing glass.

Add bourbon and bitters.

Fill the glass with ice and stir for 25–30 seconds until well chilled and balanced.

Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.

Garnish with an orange peel twist and a couple of fresh berries.
