one pot white bean and veg pasta

1 diced yellow onion
1 diced bell pepper
2 tbsp or more garlic
1 tbsp msg
scant ½ tsp red pepper flakes
½ tsp Italian seasoning
¼ tsp basil
pinch of cumin
1 Bay leaf
1/2 box any pasta (or more!)
1 tsp roasted garlic better than bouillon
1 15 ounce can diced tomatoes
1 can great northern beans or similar, rinsed
1 cup chopped greens
Instrucțiuni
Sautee onions and bell peppers in a medium stock pot until onions are translucent. Add garlic and spices when onions have become fragrant.
Whisk bouillon into ½ cup water. When onion is translucent and beginning to brown, add tomatoes, pasta, drained beans, and diluted bouillon. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer, checking regularly on pasta. Add greens after cooking pasta for 5 minutes. Top off with water as needed to keep it brothy. Make sure not to cook pasta past al dente.
Note
I like the pre chopped bag of frozen spinach and kale from BJ's for this, but you can use whatever.
