HIGH PROTEIN BROWNIE TRAY 🍫🔥

It’s a F*CK, but just.

If you’re deep in a calorie deficit, and you haven’t got a lot of calories to play with is good curb your sweet craving.

It’s definitely not the best brownie I’ve tried, but it is very low-calorie and high protein.

It’s more chocolate protein sponge than brownie, but in a deficit, that trade off can make sense.

Ingredients, 1 batch

Egg whites – 6 large, about 200g, 7oz

Lemon juice – ¼ tsp, 1ml

Cacao powder – ¼ cup, about 25g, 0.9oz

Chocolate protein powder – ½ cup, about 60g, 2.1oz

Stevia or sweetener – ¼ cup equivalent sweetness

Baking powder – ½ tsp, 2g, 0.07oz

Unsweetened milk – 1 to 2 tbsp, 15 to 30ml

Vanilla extract – splash, about 5ml

Pinch of salt

Chocolate chips – optional, not included in macros

Instrucțiuni

Preheat oven to 180°C, 356°F. Line a small square tray with baking paper.

Whisk egg whites to stiff peaks. Add lemon or lime juice and whisk briefly again.

In a separate bowl combine cacao, protein powder, sweetener and baking powder.

Add vanilla and milk and stir into a thick paste

Gently fold wet mix into egg whites

Pour into tray and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.

Cool before slicing.
