1 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs sliced into bite sized pieces
1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
1/2 packed cup of brown sugar
4 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp fresh cracked ground pepper
1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp ground ginger
7-8 cloves of smashed and minced garlic
4 chopped green onions
Toasted sesame seeds
2 cups hot cooked rice
Instrucțiuni
Whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, red pepper, ground pepper, ginger and garlic in small bowl, reserve half of mixture and marinate chicken in the other half for a few hours.
Heat up a cast iron skillet over medium high heat with a bit of cooking oil and then brown chicken until cooked through. Pour remaining sauce mixture over chicken, mix so it's coated over everything and simmer over medium low heat for 2-4 minutes until it's nice and thick and saucy.
Serve immediately over rice and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
Note
you can add a tbsp of gochugang
