Roast Pork Wrapped In Bacon With Green Beans And Mash

Ingredientes

4 pork steaks, approx 140g each

4 sage leaves

8 rashers of streaky bacon

2 tbsp each balsamic vinegar and olive oil, for drizzling

mash and green beans, to serve

Instruções

1 Heat the oven to 180C fan, gas 6. Generously season the pork steaks. Then top each one with a sage leaf and wrap around 2 rashers of bacon. Secure with a cocktail stick.

2 Brush the steaks with the balsamic vinegar and olive oil, then put them on a foil-lined baking dish. Transfer to the oven and roast for 25 minutes.

3 Remove the cocktail sticks and serve with mash and green beans.

Notas

This works really well with chicken too — you could use sprigs of rosemary instead of the sage.
