Ingredientes

  • 1.25 lbs beef sirloin

  • 2lb KK fresh wide rice noodles

  • 5 cloves of garlic

  • 2 bundles of scallions

  • 8oz mung bean sprouts

  • .5lbs Gai Lan tips

  • Lee Kum Kee premium dark soy sauce

  • Kikkoman soy sauce

  • Lee Kum Kee premium oyster sauce

  • Sesame oil

  • Corn starch

  • Baking soda

  • White sugar

  • MSG

Instruções

Beef

  • Slice beef thin against the grain

  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce

  • 2 tsp baking soda

  • 2 tsp corn starch

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • Mix and marinate in fridge for 30 mins

Sauce

  • Premix before starting pan

  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • a pinch of MSG

Noodles

  • Heat up in warm or boiling water for 5 mins then strain. Do not overcook!

  • Strain and add to pan after vegetables finish

  • Time it so that the noodles don’t sit too long after straining

Pan

  1. Sear beef on high heat in vegetable oil until medium. Then remove the beef

  2. Coarsely mince garlic and add.

  3. Shortly after add in chopped scallions and bean sprouts

  4. Once sprouts start to wilt add in the gai lan

  5. once the scallions start to caramelize add in the sauce

  6. Scrape pan, coat veggies, and reduce

  7. Add in noodles and mix very well

  8. Ones sauce begins to thicken or if the noodles are getting too soft, add in beef and serve

Notas

Mix sauce into noodles very well

The beef part were very good very beefy but the parts with mostly noodles had less flavor. Maybe sear more and leave more fond in pan

Maybe alittle more MSG, or add MSG into sauce if you’re feeling confident

Tsp of lemon juice to sauce? (Idk but it was recc)
