Ingredientes

1 tsp cumin

½ tsp chilli powder

½ tsp ground coriander

Salt and black pepper

1 sirloin steak

1 tbsp vegetable oil

1 yellow pepper, deseeded and thinly sliced

(or use ½ red pepper and ½ yellow pepper)

¼ red onion, thinly sliced

To serve:

Garlic and coriander naans, lightly toasted

or warmed in the oven

Sour cream

Mango chutney

Cos lettuce, finely shredded

Cucumber slices

Sweet potato fries

Instruções

1 Combine the cumin, chilli powder, ground coriander and a pinch of salt and pepper in a bowl. Add the steak and toss to coat.

2 Heat half of the oil in a large frying pan over a medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.

3 Add the rest of the oil to the pan and cook the peppers and most of the onion — a bit of the onion to serve. Cook for 4-5 minutes until soft and slightly crispy.

4 Slice the steak, then add it back into the pan, tossing quickly to combine with the peppers, onion and any spices left on the bottom of the pan.

5 Spread the sour cream and some mango chutney down the centre of the warm naan.

6 Add the steak, peppers and onion, then top with lettuce, cucumber and the reserved red onion. Serve with sweet potato fries.
