Smashed Lamb Tacos

Gyros-inspired Smashed Tacos 🍅

Easy Mid-Week Dinner idea

60g raw beef or lamb mince per wrap (I used 250g for 2 serves - 2 wraps each)

Spices: 1/2 tbsp of paprika, garlic and onion powder, salt

4 soft tacos

1 tomato, sliced

4 small or 1 large cucumber, quartered

1/2 red onion, thinly sliced

Fresh parsley or coriander to garnish

Tzaztiki

1/4 lemon on each

Thick cut frozen fries ~3 per wrap (or as many as you want to fit on)

Portion your mince and mix in the spices. Divide by number of wraps you’re going to use.

Press the mince into each wrap to make a thin layer. To a hot pan, cook the mince face down for about 2 mins. Flip and cook for another 2 mins (these don’t take long and the oven will make the wrap crispy).

If you’re making more than a single serve, pre-heat your oven to 160°C fan-forced and line a baking tray ready for the cooked wraps - this will keep them warm and make them crisp up. Air fry or oven bake your chips according to packet instructions.

While these are cooking, prep your fresh ingredients.
