Orange Cake with Honey Glaze

INGREDIENTS

• 1.5 cups sugar • 3/4 cup orange juice • 1 cup oil • 4 eggs • 1 tsp vanilla • 2.5 cups flour • 1 tbsp baking powder • Pinch salt • Zest of 1 orange

Honey glaze: • 1/4 cup water • 1 tbsp margarine • 3/4 cup honey • Zest of 1 orange or drop of orange blossom water

Instruções

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 325°F.

2. Whisk together sugar, orange juice, oil, eggs and vanilla until well combine.

3. Combine the flour, baking powder, salt and orange zest.

4. Mix into dry ingredients until fully incorporated.

5. Pour into a greased and floured Bundt pan.

6. Bake for 50-60 minutes.

7. When your cake is almost done baking, melt margarine in water and add honey. Bring to a and allow honey to dissolve. Remove from heat and mix in orange zest or orange bloss water.

8. While the cake is still warm, use a chopstick and poke holes into the bottom of the cake. P the glaze into the holes (don't worry, it's ok if it goes around the cake too). Allow cake to ‹ completely prior to removing from the pan.
