Ingredientes

500g Madeira cake 150g lemon curd 300ml double cream, whipped 2 punnets of strawberries, hulled and sliced 2 punnets of bluebenies

Instruções

1 Slice the Madeira cake lengthwise into four long slices. Use a star-shaped biscuit cutter to cut out star shapes from half of the slices. Or, just cut them into cubes.

2 Press enough of the un-cut Madeira slices into the bottom of a glass trifle dish to form an even layer. Use the scraps from the cut slices to fill in any gaps.

3 Spread over a layer of the lemon curd, then top with a layer of whipped cream.

4 Press the star-shaped slices of cake around the edges of the dish. Add some strawberries and blueberries on top of the whipped cream.

5 Continue layering in this pattern, spreading a layer of whipped cream over the top. Top with blueberries and strawberries. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
