Chicken Bhuna

360g chicken breasts
2 onions
4 garlic cloves
2 tsp ginger
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground coriander
½ tsp turmeric
½ tsp chilli powder
1 tsp curry powder
1 tsp garam masala
3 tomatoes
150ml water
Salt
Black pepper
Fresh coriander
Serve with a naan or rice
Instruções
Thinly slice the onions, then cook in a frying pan with 1 tsp oil for 8-10 mins until soft and golden.
Add finely grated garlic and ginger. Cook for 1–2 mins.
Then add the cumin, coriander, turmeric, curry powder, and chilli powder. Toast for 30 sec until fragrant.
Blend the tomatoes and pour them in to the pan. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Dice the chicken breast, add to the pan, then season with salt and black pepper.
Pour in the water and simmer for 10 minutes. The stir in the Garam masala and chopped fresh coriander. Serve with naan or basmati rice and enjoy, lovely!
