5 cups (2 1/2 cups) tart apples, peeled, cored and sliced (about 12 (6) apples)
1/2 cup (1/4 cup) sugar
3 tablespoons (1 1/2 tbs) flour
1 teaspoon (1/2 tsp) cinnamon
TOPPING:
1 1/2 cups (3/4 cup) brown sugar
1 cup (1/2 cup) unsalted butter; melted and cooled slightly
1 3/4 (1/2-3/4 cup) cups flour
2 cups (1 cup) quick oats
Instruções
Move oven rack to middle position, and preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place sliced apples in glass baking dish (9 by 13). In small bowl, mix together sugar, 3 tablespoons flour and cinnamon with a fork. Sprinkle over the apples.
In large bowl, mix together remaining ingredients until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples in baking dish. (Dish will be very full.) Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until apples are tender, mixture is bubbly, and topping is browned.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream!
Notas
Parentheses for 1/2 batch. Use the larger of the two round ramekins. Or square glass baking dish.
For full batch, use rectangle glass lasagna dish.
