Just Egg French Toast

¾ cup bottled JUST Egg
½ cup dairy-free milk (like oat milk or almond milk)
¼ cup pure maple syrup
1 tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp ground nutmeg
1 pinch of salt
2 tsp good-quality vanilla extract
5-6 slices good quality bread (I’m using a sourdough loaf cut in ½ inch - ¾ inch thick slices)
2-3 tbsp vegan butter (for pan frying)
Powdered Sugar

Maple Syrup
Instruções
In a large shallow bowl or baking dish, mix together the vegan JUST egg custard ingredients.
Place 1-2 slices of the bread into the custard mixture. Let the bread soak for 2-3 minutes, then flip the bread and soak the other side for 3-5 minutes (or until it has absorbed the custard).
In a non-stick skillet, melt 1 tbsp of the vegan butter over medium heat. Place the soaked bread into the pan and fry each side for 3-5 minutes or until browned.
Repeat steps 2-3 with the remaining slices of bread.
Serve warm, topped with powdered sugar, berries, and maple syrup.
