Apple and cranberry chutney

800 g Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and diced (Main)
2 large Onions, chopped
25 g Grated ginger
½ tsp Freshly ground black pepper
400 g Sugar
150 ml Cider vinegar
350 g Cranberries, frozen (Main)
Wskazówki
Into a large pot place the apples, onion, ginger, pepper, sugar and cider vinegar. Bring to a simmer, stirring until the sugar has dissolved. Continue to simmer for 40 minutes, then add the cranberries and cook for a further 20 minutes.
While hot, spoon into sterilised jars. Store until ready to eat.
