Pickled Red Cabbage No Pickle No Party

Składniki

1 cup white wine vinegar

1 cup water

2 tbsp sugar

1 tsp salt

1 slice fresh ginger

1 garlic clove, smashed

A few mixed peppercorns

Half a small red cabbage, thinly sliced

Wskazówki

Slice the cabbage nice and thin, and pack it into a clean jar.

In a small pot combine vinegar, water, sugar, salt, ginger, garlic, and peppercorns. Heat gently until the sugar dissolves, no need to boil.

Remove from the heat and let it cool slightly.

Pour over the cabbage making sure its completely submerged.

Put the lid on, give it a shake and stick it in the back of the fridge for a few days . Yum
