Bang Bang Chicken Bites

24 ounces frozen crispy chicken nuggets

1/2 cup mayonnaise

3 Tablespoons sweet chili sauce

1 Tablespoon sriracha hot sauce, plus more if desired

1/4 cup sliced green onions

Preheat an air fryer to 300 degrees F (193 degrees C).

Add nuggets in a single layer to the air fryer basket, and fry until hot and crisp, about 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking time. You may need to work in batches. (Alternately, preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Place nuggets in a single layer on a baking sheet, and bake in the preheated oven until golden, about 12 minutes.)

Meanwhile, stir mayonnaise, chili sauce, and hot sauce together in a large bowl until well blended. Toss hot chicken nuggets in sauce until well coated. Top with green onions before serving.

used raw chicken thighs cut up and dreged in a flour spice mix, then into beaten eggs, then into a 50/50 ap flour rice flour and spices. Then I just proceded as the recipe states, however on a much busier day, the frozen nuggets would work too.

Definitely a keeper - quick and easy to make. The ingredients list doesn’t include sesame seeds but they are shown in the recipe photo so definitely sprinkle them over the finished dish. I doubled the amount of sriracha for personal taste and it didn’t overpower the sweetness of the chili sauce but was a nice balance of sweet heat.

Family loves this. Needed a bit more time for my particular air fryer. Took about 18 minutes to get them nice and crispy, the last 5 minutes at 450.

This was great, going to use a touch less mayo and more sriracha, but very yummy, easy treat. Wife hates mayo, we subbed ranch for it and it works as well.
