Cream Cheese Frosting

1 cup (2 sticks) salted butter, softened (not melted)

12 oz (1.5 bricks) cream cheese, COLD

3-4 cups powdered sugar (start with 3, add more if needed)

1 tbsp vanilla extract but measure with your soul

Pinch of salt

How I Make It

1. Beat the butter until smooth and creamy (about 1–2 minutes).

2. Add vanilla and mix again.

3. Add about 1-2 cups powdered sugar slowly and mix until fluffy.

4. Add COLD cream cheese LAST and mix on LOW just until combined.

5. Add the rest of the powdered sugar slowly and to taste.

Don’t overmix or it can get runny.

6. Add salt to taste and frost that cake up!
