Mezzetta’s Baked Feta with Olives & Figs Is a Total Game-cha

1 (7 ounce) block feta

4-6 black mission figs, halved

1 ½ cups Mezzetta® Pitted Italian Castelvetrano Olives, drained

1 small shallot, thinly sliced

¼ cup extra virgin olive oil

Zest of ½ a lemon

2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves

1 tablespoon fresh rosemary leaves

Freshly cracked black pepper

Crusty bread, toasted or grilled for serving

Instructies

Preheat your oven to 400°F.

Place the block of feta cheese in the center of a baking dish or oven safe skillet and surround the cheese with halved figs, Mezzetta® Pitted Italian Castelvetrano Olives and sliced shallots. Drizzle the entire dish with the extra virgin olive oil, sprinkle with lemon zest, thyme leaves, rosemary leaves and a few cracks of black pepper.

Transfer the dish to the oven to bake for 18-20 minutes or until the feta is softened and the olives and figs are roasted and bubbling.

Serve immediately with toasted or grilled bread.
