Chuck Roast One Pot, Melt in Your Mouth

4 pounds Chuck roast

1 tablespoon ground black pepper

¼ cup oil

2 bottles Sangria Senorial

4 cups chicken stock

1 slice of ginger, smashed

2 onions, sliced thin

1/2 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup minced garlic

Instructies

Preheat your oven to 300°F

Seasoned the chuck roast with salt and pepper. Dredge the roast in all-purpose flour. Set Aside.

Heat a dutch oven pot on medium high heat and add the oil. Cook the chuck roast for about four minutes on each side until browned. Take the chuck roast out and set aside.

In the same pot turn the heat on medium and add the onions garlic and ginger and cook for five minutes or until the onions are caramelized. Add the Sangria Senorial Soda, chicken broth soy sauce and black pepper. Add the roast back in and place the lid on.

Bake in the oven for 4 to 5 hours or until falling apart tender. Carefully remove the pan from the oven and let the roast sit, covered, for 10 minutes. This helps the juices settle back into the meat. Shred the roast and serve it with the onions, garlic, and spoon the rest of sauce on top. Serve and Devour!
