Rub pork chops with oil, season

Heat skillet, preheat oven

Sear pork chops

Sear the pork chops in the skillet for 2 minutes on each side.

Continue cooking in oven

Transfer the skillet immediately to the oven and cook until the pork chop reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit, about 15 minutes.

Let rest, serve

Let rest 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
