Sticky Garlic Tofu

Ingredienser

1 block firm tofu, pressed & cubed

2 tbsp cornflour

1 tbsp sesame oil

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 thumb ginger, grated

3 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp maple syrup

1 tbsp rice vinegar

1 tbsp hoisin sauce

2 tsp cornflour mixed with 3 tbsp water

Cooked jasmine rice, to serve

Sesame seeds & fresh coriander, to garnish

Fremgangsmåte

Toss tofu cubes in cornflour until evenly coated.

Heat sesame oil in a pan and fry tofu until golden and crisp on all sides.

Add garlic and ginger, cooking for 1 min.

Stir in soy sauce, maple syrup, vinegar, and hoisin. Simmer briefly.

Pour in cornflour slurry, stirring until sauce thickens and becomes glossy.

Serve over jasmine rice and garnish with sesame seeds, chilli and coriander.
