One-Pan Wonder: Chicken Caprese Pasta Delight

Ingredients:
2 cups penne pasta
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 cup fresh mozzarella balls, halved
1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
1/4 cup balsamic glaze
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Fremgangsmåte
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large baking dish, combine the uncooked penne pasta, chicken pieces, diced tomatoes (with their juice), minced garlic, olive oil, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine all ingredients. Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. After 25 minutes, remove the foil and stir the mixture. Add the halved mozzarella balls on top and return to the oven, uncovered, for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the pasta is tender. Once done, remove from the oven and drizzle with balsamic glaze. Sprinkle fresh basil on top before serving.
