How To Make Kataifi From Scratch

Ingredienser

¾ cup All-purpose Flour

⅔ cup Cornstarch

1 tsp Sugar

½ tsp Salt

1 tbsp Vegetable Oil

1 cup Water

Fremgangsmåte

Mix well dry ingredients in a medium mixing bowl with a whisk. Add cooking oil and water and whisk until smooth and well combined.

Sieve the batter into a piping bag and heat a non-stick pan over low heat. Cut the piping bag very small so that it will make a thin kataifi.

Gently squeeze the piping bag and make a zig-zag motion starting from the side of the pan to the other side of the pan.

Remove from the pan once the pastry begins to peel off from the pan. Transfer it to a plate and do the process until the batter runs out.
