Authentic Cuban Pollo a La Plancha

Ingredienser

2 chicken breasts, halved & pounded evenly

5 garlic cloves, grated

2 tsp oregano

1 tsp cumin

1/2 tsp paprika

2 tsp salt

1 tsp black pepper

Juice of 1 lime

Juice of 1 sour orange

4 tbsp olive oil

2 yellow onions, sliced

Butterfly chicken breasts and light pound until it has an even thickness. Marinate with all the ingredients except the sliced onions. On a large pan on medium high heat with oil, cook your chicken on one side for 4-5 minutes then flip and cook until 155F internal. Let it rest outside of the pan so it gradually reaches 165F internal.
